위와 같은 에러
Your host does not have synchronized TSCs. Please read VMware Knowledge Base article 2041.

저의 경우엔 아래 첨부파일 AMD Dual Core Optimizer 로 해결이 되었습니다.
Ubuntu를 써보고 싶었지만 작업상 어쩔 수 없이 XP 32비트 설치해서 쓰다가 VMware로 한 번 돌려볼까 하는 생각에 설치하다 삽질을 많이 했네요.
어쨌든 성공하여 기분 좋습니다. 우분투 좋네요! 64비트 설치했습니다. ^^
